The Main Event has begun!
The time has arrived!
LittleBigCard is making final preparations for his 3rd World Series.
After spending most of the day mixing with stars and being interviewed, Andy had a chance to relax and watch the start of the 2009 World Series over a beer with his mum and dad.
‘Relaxing now is the key for me to approach the gruelling days ahead with a positive outlook and to be ready for literally days and days of solid poker.’ Andy commented earlier today.
LittleBigCard starts his campaign on Sunday at 12 noon (8pm UK time), and has not seen much to worry about so far.
‘I have had my fair share of bad-beats and am now prepared to go into the main event with a truly positive mental attitude’. He continued, ‘With a smaller field than last year there is more of a chance of getting somewhere and I have segregated my goals into small goals over small periods. These all lead though to being on the final table in a few weeks time’.
Saturday will be another day at the Rio for Andy where he will wander abourt and just enjoy the experience.
