LittleBigCard and his father Ron entered a tournament in the local casino – Sunset Station.
Not a big tourny but one with several seasoned local poker players. Both Andy and Ron made the final table and Andrew managed to cash in in 2nd place. Andy went into the final hand with a pocket pair of 7s and the guy called with 10, 4. The flop cam 4, 4, 7
Turn King
River 4 – Giving the lucky git quads. Oh well, that’s poker.
This whole exercise was supposed to be a practise round for the bigger tournaments in the week.
Looking forward to keeping you posted with future updates.

Not content with getting through to the 2nd day of the WSOP, Ice has just come 1st in a satellite tournament to win his entry into the $1000 buy-in at the Bellagio (7.15pm Tonight) with a chance to pick up $70,000. Check out the poker room if you want to find him and we wish him the best of luck – everything seems to be going the Diamond way.
We know you’ve all been having problems with your cell phones, so come and check us out.

No tournaments to enter in the WSOP so I went off to the Bellagio.
Managed to win a satellite for the main event in Bellagio at 2pm today.
In the main tournament there was 161 players with $57,000 first prize.
All went well apart from I just couldn’t gather any chips above the $10,000 I was given. Eventually I was being really hurt with the blinds and when I was small blind I was dealt A, Q suited. I made a move and went all in.
I was gutted to see the big blind sitting with A, K (unsuited). But this was to change when the flop came A,Q, 7 – Yippee I thought.
Then the turn card came – A F@**@*G King! I was out in position 88.
Good news at the end of the day though. I entered a small tournament in The Paris and came third out on 57 entrants. Up $388 for the day!
