Hello dad.
Happy fathers day and sorry  cannot be with you today.
Here is a message from the best barman in the USA, ‘Stop dithering and get your sorry ass over here – you son needs your support and I need my buddy back’.
Anyway, going down today just to see what’s on and will post relevant news soon.
Love ‘The Chief’ x

Here is a great comment from Adrian from Hereford which just have to have it’s own posting. It is aimed at my Ron (my dad) but I feel it may lead to a minibus to either Hereford or Devon.
Beating everyone in Hereford my arse! Well you didn’t need to fly that far to get out in the first round it sounds like a normal week in the Rosie!
Anyway I am now compelled to tell everyone the waiting time you have had recently and the rubbish way you played Aces against me first hand the week before you left. First hand first game and there are not many people who can claim only to be dealt 2 cards in over 2 hours.
That’s enough for now I wont tell everybody about the 9‚Äôs in your hand disguising themselves as a flop that’s for another time so pipe down Ron or your secrets will be out.
On a serious note Andrew we ought to organise a Torquay versus Hereford match. I‚Äôve heard the Torquay boys haven’t got of the 2nd chapter yet but I suppose we would be happy to transfer some of Torquay‚Äôs economy to Hereford!
Have fun look forward to hearing the stories when you are back.
Adrian
Well done for the grat comment Adrian!

Ron Fields has blown it!
He did ask that I remind you all that at least he lasted longer than me. (Thanks dad!).
Anyway. We all tried to decipher through the different versions as to why he lost and I believe he went all in on Ace, King unsuited.
Apparently it was not his fault as the guy ‘was a pratt’, and should never have called with pocket 4s.
Make your mind up yourselves and give him a good quizzing when he returns as he should have his story straight by then.
I am sure IronMan has learnt from this unfortunate experience and will try to qualify for the main event, so keep your cheery comments coming. If not for his sake – but for mine to make my life living with him slightly easier over the coming weeks.

Iron man got up off the mat today in true fighting spirit. After his initial downfall, IronMan entered more satellites and managed to make a profit. Nothing to write home about you may think but bear in mind that his defeated opponents included several professionals and previous tournament winners.
Well done dad!
And he says I look stupid in an Indian outfit!….

Big Chief Iron Man entered his first satellite today at the Rio to start his Worlds Series campaign.
Unfortunately he made the mistake of thinking that he was playing with his local mates in Hereford. ‘Although I beat them every week with ease – the World Series is a whole different ball-game’. Iron man was quoted as saying. He continued, ‘I just can’t seem to bluff these professionals’.
Despite having suffered his first blow Iron Man got up off the floor and entered another satellite, only to be bashed to pulp even more quickly than before.
Not to be deterred, Iron man is now looking forward to brushing up on his tactics and entering another tomorrow. Is it foolishness or wise words from the ‘Biggest Chief’? ‘ Find out here tomorrow for the latest updates…
Comments from the Hereford crew would be appreciated.

For the past two weeks my play has been criticised by my dad – Chief IRON Man. This is despite that when I run all my hands through a poker calculator it was obvious I did the RIGHT thing at the right time.
Now it is time for chief Iron Man to show the way and win a tournament as it is ‘SO EASY’.
I must say however, that all the pros are really finding it tough this year as most of the players are young, inexperienced Internet qualifiers and are playing really risky poker. Most of the time this strategy will not work, but as the inexperienced outnumber the professionals by about 30-1 they only need the strategy to work once in order to knock a top player out.
I am sure that Chief Iron Man will find this out to his cost a little later on. (Or is he a jammy urchin himself?)
Watch this space for the results….
